Reflection & Artifacts:
Interactive video (edpuzzle) was absolutely one of my favorite projects in this class and I think one of the most powerful. I view this as engaging for every type of learner and one that I intend to use in each and every unit. The more we use this technology the easier it will become and we will begin to build up a library of these that can be used over and over. The button below will take you to my edpuzzle interactive video.
Google Doc and Google Slides are great tools for information delivery, collaboration and for delivery of student generated material back to the teacher. This is more or less a staple for teaching in the 21st century and is a technology I will be using daily in my classroom. Future Learning Goals:
Almost everyone I've ever spoken to regarding his/her influences in life have mentioned a teacher. This is one of the few professions that give one the opportunity to engage a child's mind, to inspire in him the knowledge and confidence necessary to achieve great things. We teachers have a great opportunity. To take full advantage of this opportunity requires us to meet our students where they are and in the world in which they live. Our students are surrounded by opportunity. They don't know of a time without it. It is the water they swim in. To meet them in their world, we must whole-heartedly embrace technology in teaching and use these powerful technologies to engage, then educate and then to inspire our students.
