Reflection & Artifacts
Standard IV is all about modeling digital citizenship and responsibility. This is critically important at this time. The internet is filled with power for great good and great evil. We as teachers need to discuss and model the appropriate use of technologies great power for good. These technologies have great power to engage and draw students into interesting content in a deep way. We must take advantage of this great power while we discuss and model digital citizenship with our students.
Scoopit is a great example of a powerful technology that can bring interesting material to students. All the worlds information is accessible to students and this platform brings interesting topics related to the unit being studied to students. Goggle Docs and Google Slides also shows how students can work together in the digital age from anywhere to accomplish a common goal. Links to these are shown below.

Future Learning Goals:
Its important to review and approve all materials I provide for my students. I also will ensure that I cite sources for materials I present. This is an often neglected item as I have accessed powerpoint slides from the internet relating to the chapter/unit we are studying. It is important to model integrity and to give credit for material developed by others.
